Message from Mr. Childers February 5, 2017
This is Tom Childers contacting you from Antioch Elementary. On Friday and Saturday, students from Antioch Elementary presented "The Little Mermaid Jr." Forty-six cast members sang, danced and acted their hearts out. It was certainly an entertaining show. A big thank goes out to Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Schilling for assisting Mr. Michael has he delivered a very memorable event.
Kindergarten registration begins on Monday. Parents may pick up packets at school and return them when completed. A link for the lottery to gain entrance to the Kindergarten Dual Language Program for next year can be found on the school website.
Jump Rope for Heart continues this week and concludes on Friday with the Jump Rope event. Checks should be written to Antioch Elementary.
Our next Family Fun Night is Friday at the Charlotte Checkers game. I have attached a form to this email.
February 15th is an early release day. Students are dismissed at 11:00 am. Please make arrangements accordingly.

National School Counseling is this Week 2017, "School Counseling: Helping Students Realize Their Potential," will be celebrated to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
