    In Mrs. Phillips’ first grade class, the students are learning to slow down and manage their emotions when an upset occurs. One way students are being taught to do this is through breathing. The class is using a tool they like to call the breathing ball to support them.

  • Fourth Grade Students Participate in Class Election

    Our persuasive writing unit started with a google classroom discussion question asking students to explain why classroom jobs were important. As the conversation grew, students began listing the important qualities a candidate would need to have for each classroom job.
