• The final written exam for the February Online Driver Education class is Thursday, February 23rd after school in the Piedmont Media Center.  Students should bring the parent letter to this meeting.  Any student who needs to take a re-test should also be there.

Students asked a variety of questions pertaining to policy issues and political ideology. Pittenger has represented North Carolina's 9th District since 2013.

  • Hunter Tyson is Athlete of the Month

    Congratulations to Hunter Tyson, who was selected as the Bank of NC Student Athlete of the Month. Tyson leads both Union County and the Southern Carolina Conference in scoring (26.9 ppg) and rebounding (10 rpg). Tyson also scored his 1000 career point vs. Monroe earlier this season. Off the court, Tyson is a member of the National Honor Society and is a member of the PALS group that mentors students at Unionville Elementary.

  • Golf Tournament to Benefit Wrestling and Soccer Programs

    Monroe Country Club will be the site of the Piedmont Spring Golf Tournament to benefit the wrestling and soccer programs. The tournament will be Captain's Choice with 4-person teams. Cost will be $50/person and checks should be made payable to the Piedmont Athletic Booster Club. Registration forms can be downloaded here.
