  • Duke TIP

    The Duke TIP Program is currently open to interested families for the following programs:

    • 4th-6th Grade Talent Search
    • 7th Grade Talent Search
    • Academic Adventures Program   (grades 5-6)
    • PSAT 8/9 Test Registration (for current 4th, 5th, and 6th graders enrolled in the 4th-6th grade Talent Search)
    • Scholar Weekend   (grades 8-11)

    In order for students to qualify he/she must have either a 95% or above on the EOG's OR a 125 or above on the Inview/IQ test.  These scores cannot be more than 2 years old.  Please see the link provided for additional information.     “It doesn’t matter if absences from school are excused or unexcused. They all represent lost time in the classroom and a lost opportunity to learn.”
    We urge parents to very carefully consider every potential absence from school. What matters less is whether or not the absence is excused. What is infinitely more important is the opportunity to learn, grow, and move toward one’s full potential, which is lost when a student is absent. Yes, every single day matters!

  • MRHS Tutors at the Ridge

    Marvin Ridge High School tutoring club will once again offer our students free tutoring in all subject areas for the third consecutive school year. Sessions will take place in the media center on Thursdays from 3:45-4:30.
